When I opened these rolls the smell of the burlap was very strange and awful. I aired them out on my deck and I sprayed them with fabric deodorizer which helped a little. Something to consider if you’re using them indoors.

This burlap was very rustic and dirty. As I unrolled it, there was quite a bit of dirt and debris left behind. You get a good deal of fabric for the price, but it’s very thin and not woven tightly enough.

This definitely needs to be aired out before using. I made a dress for a voodoo doll costume with this and waited until the day I needed it and ended up spraying it down with a ton of febreze because the smell was making me feel a bit sick. After a while though the smell went away for the most part and it wasn’t bothersome at all. It’s thick enough to be sturdy, but not thick enough to not be a bit see through. Great quality and amount for the price.
