Terrific bags! They stand open on their own to fill and the handles are actually comfortable. Also, not so big that they get heavy enough to make your arms longer on the way out to your car. Who wants to groceries in a bag? Still, they’re sturdy and well made. Just so you know, they are made of burlap material lined with heavy plastic, so they’re not compost-able in the end. But assuming you’ll use them dozens and dozens of times, they’re environmentally friendly, saving both paper and plastic bags, so there you go. Note that I’m not sure how long they stay looking clean and new, but for my purposes, five stars all the way.

It’s a heavy bag for me even with nothing in it. I thought the pockets would be bigger to hold items like phones. I use it to carry light books, a glass lunch dish, and a water bottle.
