These arrived more diminutive than I expected them to be, but golly gosh darn, I think the size, shape, and style is something I didn’t know I wanted!! The handles are super rugged, and the stitching is okay. Still, I’m afraid I’ll get the dirty white fast since they do not feel water resistant, but just a bit of thinker material bound and sewn tightly around something to form the solid shape of the handle. The outside of the bag feels like what I would describe as hemp-like material sewn over a glossy plastic layer exposed on the inside. In my photos, I have two oz Gatorade bottles and two boxes oz veggie broths for an idea of how much you can fit with plenty of room left over. I plan to use these to tote various household items and to take on our one-hour drive each way and back to the city to bring cold drinks in, to take to the lake, to use while shopping, or even to leave them on my steps to get stuff upstairs easier without having to look at the clutter on our steps. If you take this to the beach, sand will pile up in the bag instead of falling out, but cleaning it would still be easy by spraying it. I’m not sure how the handles or overall fabric will hold up to excessive washing, but I know the handles would have time to dry if they get wet, judging by how soft and thick the material is. Honestly, I think these are my new favorite small reusable totes due to their unique shape, size, and because of neutral colors. The instructions on the bag these totes came in say to put them in a warm room overnight after shaking them out to remove creases, and maybe after doing that or setting them in the sun would help to get the bags to loosen up enough to stay open on their own instead of folding right back up to its original compact state. The instructions on the bag these totes came in say to put them in a warm room overnight after shaking them out to remove creases, and maybe after doing that or setting them in the sun would help to get the bags to loosen up enough to stay open on their own instead of folding right back up to its original compact state. The bags are great and what I needed but they smell horribly like chemicals. I have been airing them out for quite some time and they still smell. I have had them outside for weeks and have been trying different ways to deodorize them. Luckily I don’t need them for a while longer. Def order these well ahead of needing them and look up how to get rid of the smell before putting a design or anything on them.

Solid and durable. I was skeptical that they were going to be thin and flimsy. Wrong they are sturdy and the material is coated. The only problem is there is no bottom on the inside to keep it flagged and open. A piece of cardboard in the bottom can be added if you want. Other than that it’s good for me.

These burlap bags are a must-have for grocery store shopping!! I’ve used burlap bags that I bought at Fresh Market many years ago and these are just as good as the FM ones. They are well-made, sturdy, and large enough for quite a bit of groceries. They can handle heavy items as well. a bag they are a little pricey but if they last as long as I think they will it will be worth the money.
