I did the first one without a cutting board under where I was adding on the htv vinyl and it completely ruined the bag. The plastic on the inside melted and I had to rip it open. Luckily I had an extra. The rest I put a cutting board in between the front and back of the bag making sure the foldable flaps inside were behind the board. That worked! I will say it took awhile for the htv to adhere to the material. I probably would have done canvas looking back but I really love how these turned out!
