I used a corner wrought iron support for a balcony and turned it on it’s side for a flower box. I felt every lining made for flower boxes too costly and opted for the burlap roll. I tucked it in, folded over on itself and filled it with compost. It has worked beautifully.

After opening the package there was a strong chemical smell. I have to presume it was treated with kerosene as that’s the normal treatment (did a lot of research). Whatever it was, it caused my hands to break out in hives after handling.

I used this burlap to cover the springs on the 1964 Volkswagen front seats I was restoring. The burlap is intended to cover the springs and prevent the springs from damaging the padding, or worse yet, the upholstery itself.

Po wyjęciu z torby śmierdzi ropą naftową… Musiałem wywietrzyć go w garażu. Również ja z nim byłem nieco bardziej nieprzejrzysty. Ale jest to prawie to, czego można się spodziewać w przeciwnym razie.
