This bag is beautiful. The inside is nicely lined with pockets. Haven’t used it on the beach yet, but will update this review after a few beach outings. There was no weird smell coming from the bag upon opening as some reviewers have mentioned. My one complaint though are the “rope” straps. They don’t look as nice in person as they do in the photos. The knots are large and gaudy. I didn’t like the way they sat in the outside of the bag. I ended up spending way too much time (an hour) trying to reconfigure the ropes and knots to look less prominent. I think I finally achieved it by re-weaving them and placing the ropes on the inside, but the ends were a bit mangled after that. Honestly, I shouldn’t have had to even do something like that. They should rethink the ropes! Other than that, I do give it a thumbs up.

These are beefy little tote bags. They stand up proudly, unlike the floppy fabric bags that grocery checkout people hate. The fabric handles are reinforced, securely stitched to the bag, and just long enough to slip over your shoulder. The interior is laminated with a waterproof material for ease of cleaning. The volume about half that of a standard re-usable grocery bag (i.e. Trader Joe’s), but perfect for hauling around books, notebooks, lunches, and all the flotsam and jetsam that usually resides in the back seat of my car.

These are beefy little tote bags. They stand up proudly, unlike the floppy fabric bags that grocery checkout people hate. The fabric handles are reinforced, securely stitched to the bag, and just long enough to slip over your shoulder. The interior is laminated with a waterproof material for ease of cleaning. The volume about half that of a standard re-usable grocery bag (i.e. Trader Joe’s), but perfect for hauling around books, notebooks, lunches, and all the flotsam and jetsam that usually resides in the back seat of my car.
